Complete beginner

  • Familiarisation with equipment
  • Sliding with control
  • Using a snowplough to control speed



  • Introduction to turning
  • Turn in both directions


Linking Turns

  • Use of rope tow
  • Link turns
  • Vary size of turns


Intro to plough Parallel

  • Learn about Plough Parallel
  • Ride poma to lower main slope


Lower main Slope

  • Consistently link turns with varied speed
  • Demonstrate all skills learned from previous lessons


Upper main Slope (7-12 Years Only)

  • Use of poma to top of main slope
  • Control of speed from top to bottom of main slope
  • Demonstrate awareness of slope safety and other slope users


Developing Skills (7-12 Only)

  • Varying turn shape from the top to bottom of main slope
  • Focusing on less skidding at the end of the turn (Intro to Carving)


Private Lessons

Learn as a group with your family or friends. The members of the group may are at different levels of experience.
