Where in our opinion we believe that a person may be causing a risk to the safety or security of the site or impairing the enjoyment of others, we reserve the right to remove that person’s Lift Pass and ask them to leave the premises.

To ensure the safety of all slope users, only our fully qualified Snow Factor instructors are permitted to teach or provide coaching on our slopes or lifts at any time.
All instruction at Snow Factor is provided by The Adventure Trust.
We do not allow individuals or private coaches to teach in our centre.
You must meet the FIS recreational standard to use our main slope or book lessons to reach this standard prior to booking your lift pass.
You are welcome to bring your own ski/snowboard equipment. Please be aware that Snow Factor does not accept liability for any damage to personal equipment. Snow Factor equipment can be hired for a small charge if required.
For safety and comfort, helmets, gloves, full-length trousers and long sleeve tops must be worn at all times on the slope. We advise that you wear waterproof jackets and trousers, which can be hired from our clothing rental department. For hygiene reasons, gloves, socks and face coverings are available to purchase only.
Please note: Ski boots are worn in Bar Varia Restaurant & Bier Halle at your own risk.
Head protection (PPE UIAA Standard) is available from the Rental Desk and is required for all slope users. Helmets are compulsory for all users unless excused upon medical grounds. All customers on any activity, all freestyle and mogul users, and anyone involved in any type of racing or race training must wear a proper ski/snowboard approved helmet. This must fit correctly and must be fastened at all times.
For health and safety reasons, only Snow Factor sledges may be used. These are free of charge to use on our sledging sessions.
Please note: ski/board boots are not complimentary for sledging sessions.
It should be noted that failure to return your equipment or hired clothing (skis and poles, snowboards, ski/board boots, salopettes, ski jacket and helmet) we will charge the full amount to your payment card. Please ensure that you hand your clothing and equipment to a member of staff when you are finished with them.
If you have an existing medical condition which you think may affect your safety/the safety of others and/or your ability to meet minimum competency, please seek proper medical advice before visiting Snow Factor.
Snow Factor activities are not recommended for those who have heart, back or neck conditions, or customers who are pregnant.
In the absence of negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, neither Snow Factor nor its employees/agents shall be responsible for the death, personal injury or illness of any customer, or damage to equipment or clothing whilst on Snow Factor premises.
For the safety of our customers, Snow Factor reserves the right to ask any customer to leave the premises if we believe them to be under the influence of drink or drugs, to be behaving irresponsibly, or to be endangering other slope users with their behaviour.
In all such cases mentioned in this section, no refunds will be given.
Junior rates are only applicable to children under 16 years of age; those of 16 years and over are charged at adult rates.
Snow Factor reserves the right to require proof of age.
All under-16’s must wear a helmet for all activities (available free to use from our rental department).
All under-16’s must be accompanied by a full paying adult at all times whilst on Snow Factor premises unless they are taking part in a supervised activity or are 10-15 years old and meet minimum competency or recreational standards. This extends to under-10’s participating in lessons.
Parents or guardians must remain on the premise for the duration of the lesson/activity.
Adults shall be held responsible for any damage caused by the children they accompany whilst on Snow Factor premises.
For safety, we recommend that children under 10 years old using the main slope should be accompanied by a full paying adult who is also competent to the agreed minimum standard to use the slope.
There is no dedicated spectator area on the slope; we advise all customers to use Bar Varia or the viewing deck.
Snow Factor accepts no responsibility for spectators going onto the slope and reserves the right to ask any spectators to leave.
No spectators are allowed to walk or stand on the Link Bridge – it is restricted for use only by Skiers and Snowboarders.
Photographic, video and other recording equipment should not be taken onto the slope.
Photography within the Snow Factor area is only permitted with prior consent – please ask a member of staff for details.
Please be advised we have CCTV throughout the centre for the purposes of crime prevention which complies with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Occasionally third parties including the press record images of events at Snow Factor. In such circumstances, notices will be displayed to advise customers of any filming/photography to be carried out where your image may appear.
In addition, we may record your images for advertising and/or marketing purposes.
All calls to our 0141 885 7000 number are charged at a local rate.
When booking through any channel you will be asked for a telephone number in case of accident or emergency and an email address for updates on your booking.
Bookings made via our Call Centre and website incur a £1.99 booking fee – this is non-refundable.
Full payment must be made before a booking is confirmed.
All Gift Voucher sales are final, no order cancellations or refunds will be given for purchases made by customer error.
We reserve the right to change our Terms and Conditions at any point.
If you need to alter your booking, we require a minimum of 5 days notice to allow for a transfer. We are not issuing refunds for cancelled bookings at this time. If a booking is made within this time frame no transfer or cancellations are possible. For corporate, group and school bookings a minimum of 10 days is required. All transfers and cancellations will incur a £5 administration fee. No transfer will be given within 5 days of your booking and no refund will be given for any non-attendance.

As such, we will not be able to issue a refund for any bookings made however we have waived the £5 administration fee and the 5 day notice period. We are also happy to both move booking values to Gift Vouchers and extend the validity on any pre-purchased Gift Vouchers to allow you time to recover. Our team are here to help and will be happy to move your booking forward to a date that suits.
Authorised refunds will be processed within 28 days to the original payment card.

Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the issue date, the expiry date is clearly noted on the front of your gift voucher
All voucher sales are final
Our vouchers may be used at Snow Factor, Baltic Ice Bar or our sister company, Ice Factor.
Gift Vouchers can be redeemed over the phone or at reception.
If you have extenuating circumstances which prevent you from using your vouchers during the validity period, please call us on 0141 885 7000 before your vouchers expire.
Our team will be able to accept a future booking, with the activity booked taking place after your vouchers have expired.
Failure to contact us before your vouchers expire will invalidate your gift vouchers, no refund will be given for expired vouchers.
All change over the value of £0.99 will be issued in voucher form.
Snow Factor will not be responsible for any loss of or damage to gift vouchers and photocopies will not be accepted. Please treat Snow Factor gift vouchers as if they were cash as the balance cannot be returned to you if it is lost or stolen.
If your voucher has expired, you may extend you voucher for an admin fee within 30 days of the expiry date. Please contact us us at customercare@snowfactor.com for details.

We provide lockers (£1 non-returnable) to store your personal items and valuables while you are on the slope. Snow Factor nor its employees or agents are responsible for any loss, theft or damage to valuables or personal property that belongs to any visitor whilst on Snow Factor premises.
