THIS IS HOME: FACTION SKI FILM TOUR

We are excited to be partnering with Faction this winter for the first ever feature length film from The Faction Collective, ‘This Is Home’. From Europe to the US and back again, we follow the Faction athletes as they return to their respective bases around the world to show us how they get it done on home turf.

Revisiting old playground and favourite lines, finding new challenges and scoping out secret spots, this film chronicles what it means to be a freeskier today – where the conditions are what you make of them, and the search for the perfect ride in your own backyard.

In production for the past year, ‘This Is Home’ chronicles what makes a skier, and tells personal stories about the environment that creates and the conditions that helped shape athletes including Candide Thovex, the world’s most famous and acclaimed freeskier, big mountain prodigy Johnny Collinson, 15-year old phenomenon Kelly Sildaru, and freeskiing icon Adam Delorme.

Filmed and produced by the team that delivered the award-winning “We Are The Faction Collective” webisodes, which received over 4 million views, the Faction production team has been on a year-long mission, from the icy streets of Finland to chasing powder in Montana and exploring steep lines in Zermatt, and to visiting Thovex’s playground of La Clusaz and a rally session in Verbier.

Screenings of ‘This Is Home’ will be held in London, Glasgow, Aviemore, Liverpool, Tamworth, Chester, Fort William and Bristol throughout October/November with dates and ticket links listed below.
