“We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

Good to go Visit Britain

As we are all aware, COVID-19 is constantly changing and therefore we will keep our COVID-19 safety practices and procedures blog up-to-date in line with government guidance.

At Snow Factor, we aim to stay open whilst keeping our community, customers and employees safe throughout the pandemic.

Watch Our Quick Snapshot

In line with the recent government guidance to help fight against the rise from the Omicron variant, we ask all customers to abide by the procedures in place at Snow Factor.

These include:

  1. Wearing a face mask.
  2. Regularly wash your hands or use the hand sanitiser stations throughout the centre.
  3. Following the one way system to reduce queues and maintain social distancing.
  4. Complete Track and Trace whilst visiting Bar Varia, table service is in operation to reduce queues.

Face Masks are Mandatory

By law, everyone age 12 and over must wear a face-covering indoor public places in Scotland. At Snow Factor this can be a face mask or buff, either option must cover your nose and mouth.

There are also some situations when you can temporarily remove your face covering, for example when sitting at a table in our restaurant Bar Varia, when you are eating or drinking.

We work closely with Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) who are based at Snow Factor offering adaptive snowsports to those with unique physical and mental disabilities. For customers looking for adaptive snowsport lessons, contact DSUK who will be able to advise on the mask wearing policy for persons attending an adaptive lesson. To get in touch with DSUK Email: bookings@disabiltysnowsport.org.uk or call on 01479 788 770.

Wash Your Hands

Please wash your hands regularly especially if you are moving from place to place. There are hand sanitiser stations throughout and our clean team are regularly cleaning and disinfecting all popular touchpoints including bannisters, doors, handles, light switches etc to minimise the potential spread of the virus.

Follow The One Way

To reduce contact time and maintain social distancing please follow the one-way system throughout Snow Factor. Follow the arrows, tape and posters that are located throughout.

Bar Varia

Our restaurant is operating table service and upon entry, you must complete a track and trace before being seated. You can remove your face covering whilst eating and drinking, however, if moving throughout the restaurant, please wear your face covering.

There are hand sanitation stations located throughout Bar Varia and we kindly ask that you give our staff and other customers 2m distance.
