30% discount for holidaymakers hit by Coronavirus

The season is just starting in Scotland but we know many of you have been looking forward to heading off to the Alps for a much anticipated ski holiday for months now only to have it cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Although we are all on board with taking safety measures to contain the virus and as such implemented additional measures to help alleviate the potential risk of infection on our premises; we understand the disappointment felt by those who have been looking forward to their holiday abroad.

As such, we would like to help where we can, and are offering a 30% discount on our lift passes to people whose holiday has been cancelled due to the outbreak.

Our Customer Care Team will issue the 30% discount on any of our standard lift passes to those who can show their holiday confirmation or cancellation including their name and the dates that they should have travelled on. The discount will be valid over the time period that the person should have been abroad on their holiday and will be available for all persons outlined on the itinerary travelling on the holiday.

This, for example, would bring a full price unlimited pass from £34 to £23.80. We will offer this all the way through to the end of the season (for ski holidays booked up to the 30th April).

We know we can’t make a holiday cancellation better but we hope that it helps those who have been disappointed continue to ski on real snow, just a little closer to home!

In accordance with the latest official guidance from the government and health authorities, we have upped our clean team and have them placing additional focus on high traffic areas such as toilets and door handles. We have also introduced antibacterial hand gels at reception and in Bar Varia with additional signage to remind patrons of the need for regular hand washing as recommended by health authorities.

We would also kindly ask those travelling from affected areas to check and follow the guidelines issued by the government prior to coming to the centre.

Key Points:

Customers must be able to evidence their holiday has been cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The discount applies to full price, standard lift passes (not available for any pre-discounted passes or specials).

The discount will be applied only on the dates the skiers and boarders should be abroad in an affected area.

The discounted lift pass will be applicable for cancelled ski holidays booked up until the 30th April 2020.
