SNOW FACTOR INSTRUCTORS TAKE PODIUM AT GO BIG OR GO HOME

Two instructors at Snow Factor Braehead sloped off with podium finishes last weekend (Sat 18 June) when they competed at the annual Go Big or Go Home (GBoGH) ski and snowboard event in Bearsden just north of Glasgow.

While Snow Factor Braehead hosted 200 alpine racers for the GBR Series and Scottish Indoor Alpine Championships, Marc ‘Gladis’ McClement, who won the event in 2013 travelled across Glasgow to impress the judges with his big aerials.  He secured 2nd place in the men’s category while top Scottish female rider Rio Peterson took 3rd in the ladies.

Both instructors will be busy this summer teaching at Snow Factor’s popular summer snow camps when kids (aged 7-15 years old) in the Pro and Freestyle camps will have the chance to learn some top tips for rail riding and grabbing big air within Scotland’s only indoor real snow facility. They will also be on hand when the giant inflatable Airbag returns to Snow Factor for freestyle skiers and snowboarders to grab big air on the evening of Friday 22 July.
